Advertising.

 Where is good to advertise, how to ADVERTISE as well as where to SOCIALIZE and how to go about it, and a few hints

OLD AND CORNY, BUT TRUE

 It’s  got to be worth it, so do the job properly, be accurate, never lie and always be strait to the point. After all, what you are doing is setting up your business and you don’t want to do that more than once.

I have had to change my business on all my services as I changed or added more business and let me assure you ‘YOU DON’T WANT TO GO THERE’. Now you might ask how you can avoid that, and to be honest with you, it is EASY! Take the short route and use the About.me. About.me is an electronic business-card. Look at mine http://about.me/burrowsmike  to get an idea of what it can be used for.

You could use it for your profile on the services (social as well as advertising) you want to join. It is easy to change, add or delete services or/business. This way you will not have to go to each individual service and/or business, to change your profile.

I’ve used my affiliate links to the services I have added on my about.me, so if anyone wants to join that same service, they will join through my link and I will have them as connections and will be able to make posts to them or at least they will be able to see the posts I make. Make sure you do the same.

There are thousands of places to go and set up profiles, put in your business and then hope for someone coming by and find you interesting. Forget it. IT JUST DOES NOT HAPPEN!

To build a solid base of likeminded people is not something you do over night. It takes a long time and with long I mean years. It is hard work which will demand a lot of boring work setting it all up. So the earlier you get started the earlier you will get where you want to go. Don’t stall it – each step forward is a step in the right direction.

I myself am using the options below so I know what I am talking about. I will try to guide you through how to go around with it, BUT I can’t do your work.

Some of them are free and will always be. Some can be upgraded to paid versions and some can only be used if paying.

Please read our website, chat with us on Skype, anything, until you are sure you understand before you start posting anywhere. It’s an unpleasant feeling to find out after a while, that you actually got it wrong from the beginning and it does make you look un-professional. Better one extra question to be sure instead of missing the whole point.
